New solar panel design traps more light

Looks like the folks at Georgia Tech Research Institute have done it again with a new solar panel design. This research was funded by the Air Force, which hopes for smaller, more efficient panels can be used to power satellites and spacecraft in the future.

3-D panels produce about 60 times more than traditional solar cells

Great Work!

Biodiesel Algae

It seems that everyone is getting on the bandwagon with Algae as a renewable fuel. Many people are skeptic that Algae can produce up to 20,000 gallons of oil in one hector of land. The Vickers Biofuel team has been growing Algae for about six months now with great success. The green microalgae stains were testing are Nannochloropsis Oculata and Tetraselmis chuii. You can get these strains from out site at Vickers Biofuel or from the Vickers Biofuel EBAY site.

If you need food for your algae, we sell that too. Our Algae food formula comes from an established company in two parts. The reason for the two parts, keep the vitamins separated from the trace elements. Not doing this spoils your food over a short amount of time. Now the great news is, our F/2 formula treats 480 gallons per 8oz!
